TAZ 3 x 04: Modern Age & Tactical Play

If you're looking for the Attack Zone, you're looking on the right Tuesday! This week, it's like the old days - Just Dave and Randy - as JT and Mike are dealing with their DM related travels from regional tournaments.

It's a jampacked show today, as we cover both the recent rotation news and how we think it will impact competitive play. Then we talk about tactical play in Dice Masters connected to a classic - perhaps THE classic - CCG article: "Who's the Beatdown?" Dave talks about why he was wrong, Randy agrees with him, and good times are had by all.

Thanks for listening, and we'll see you in two weeks!

TAZ 3 x 03: Winter WKOs

It's another Attack Zone! We're in the midst of the Winter phase of the WizKids Open events and people around the country are clamoring for their Nationals invites and their sweet, sweet prizes. This past weekend, Dave, Isaac, and Stuart were all at events, and so Dave gives his usual cohosts the fortnight off for recovery and invites these two to talk all about it.

We also will announce the January Patreon winner - you can find out about that at www.patreon.com/theattackzone - and some very special prizes for the month of February in celebration of the WizKids Open events!

TAZ 3 x 02: Deck Tech featuring Mike Plumb

This is no ordinary episode of The Attack Zone! Joining us this week is a special guest, five-time WizKids Open winner and 2016 US National Runner-Up, Mike Plumb! After walking our way through a World's Finest Six-Pack, we break down an archetypical team that we expect to see at the Spring opens, one piloted by community member Michaela to a WKO victory of her own.

Here's the team: http://dm.retrobox.eu/?view&cards=3x137jl;3x47fus;3x86gaf;3x54fus;2x113fus;3x15fus;2x14wf;1x108gaf;3x28uxm;3x136bff

This week, on the Attack Zone, we digress slightly, and then snap back to reality. Within you'll find a Deadpool Twelve-Pack with some sweet, sweet foils and rares for our excellent backers. Our featured discussion goes through the recent news from the PDC regarding their support of new competitive formats - and we're all about competition here at TAZ.

Classic TAZ: Evaluating Tournament Results

With JT out of town, Randy welcoming a new addition to the family, and Dave finishing up the semester of grad school, we elected to do a rerun this week from just after Randy's LAST baby arrived.  This is from 2015 Worlds and is about what the correct takeaways from tournaments are.

Don't fret about this month's six pack prizes though - we'll give you a double dose next time to make up for it! Repeat, giveaways will NOT be impacted! Scintillating!
